Last summer, documentary filmmaker Jens Strohschnieder, who read my book, Breaking Away, reached out to discuss a pressing issue: the rise of data-opolies. His documentary, now streaming on the German TV station ZDF, explores how a handful of powerful tech companies control vast amounts of data and influence society in ways few fully understand.
