Updated: Oct 30, 2020

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business hosted a three-day conference in March 2017, bringing together academics, regulators, and public intellectuals to discuss one of the most interesting questions of our time: Is there a concentration problem in the United States? The conference cast a wide net, in an attempt to provide a multidisciplinary perspective on the issues.

Maurice participated on the panel, “Is There a Role for Political Antitrust?”

Guy Rolnik, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, moderated the panel. The other speakers were

  1. Jonathan Baker, Professor of Law, American University, Washington College of Law,

  2. Diana Moss, Director, American Antitrust Institute,

  3. Zephyr Teachout, Fordham University, and

  4. Luigi Zingales, Robert C. McCormack Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance, University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
